Shamanic healing addresses the spiritual aspects of physical, mental, and emotional illness. It works well in conjunction with traditional and/or alternative health care practices. Shamanic healing is not intended to take the place of these healing options. This incorporates several, cross-cultural, healing methods:
Shamanic Counseling is intended to establish a relationship between the client and his/her spirit teachers and power animals. In this way, the client becomes the 'shaman' for herself/himself. The Spirit teachers (the true counselors) are then asked for guidance in resolving present issues that the client brings to sessions. Spirit Wind Productions is my own company formed to produce and present additional on-going classes and workshops available on learning shamanic skills, and personal empowerment, and how to integrate them into 'urban life'.
