Sacred Work

I bring values and truth into my scientific discipline, bring spirit back to science, soul into academia. I use shamanic skills in counseling students for their life endeavors, introducing ceremony into classes I teach and to students I work with. I work with dying and with newborns who are born prematurely or are substance addicted.

Classes

Epidemiology. Survey design. I am developing classes to use shamanic techniques to envision alternative futures and plan for them, plus methods to figure out what is going on at the present time.

Speaking

Global health. Just about anything in public health or epidemiology or maternal/ child health. Global consciousness. Studying alternative futures.

Other passions

Trained to read Akashic Records for people; sailing; international travel; learning ways of other cultures; DANZ movement training; reading books; knowledgeable about Edgar Cayce material.

Credentials

Doctor of Science in Hygiene (Sc.D.). Coursework for Masters degree in Studies of the Future, UHCLC. First degree in nursing - pediatric specialty and recovery room nurse for heart surgery patients. I have lived/worked in several countries and adapted to several different cultures. Compassion in Action volunteer training (being with dying people). Speak Spanish and German (used to be fluent). Various workshops with Carolyn Myss. Mastery of Learning workshops - techniques to increase ability for lifelong learning.
